  1. Heart Health

The world’s most notorious killer these days is cardiovascular disease, heart disease and stroke, which can be tied to many biological factors. There was a study done on rats in which researchers noticed that the apple cider vinegar resulted in reduced blood pressure as well as lower LDL levels and higher HDL levels. Because of these observations, it is believed that apple cider vinegar can help prevent and treat cardiovascular disease.

  1. Whitens teeth

If you want whiter teeth, simply use the apple cider vinegar as you would a mouthwash (the same way you would use it to cure bad breath). Because the vinegar is so acidic it can reduce stains on the teeth, likely from years of drinking coffee, and diminish bad bacteria in your mouth and on your gums. Of course, you’re going to have to brush your teeth afterwards to remove the rest of the plaque and because mint smells a bit nicer than vinegar.

  1. Treats indigestion

Apple cider vinegar is full of nutrients and one of them is called pectin. Pectin works by creating fibrous material in chunks which breaks up diarrhea. This nutrient also coats the lining of your colon which prevents intestinal spasms. To have this effect you would take it much the same way you would to lower your cholesterol or boost your energy. For preventative care you can take apple cider vinegar every day but for quick relief upon the occurrence of an issue you can take two tablespoons diluted with water and honey.

  1. Treats age spots and blemishes

Age spots and blemishes are almost inevitable as you age, but there’s also a way to reduce how noticeable they are. By applying apple cider vinegar directly to these spots it will reduce their visibility within a few days. This also works the same way with bruises. The human body bruises much easier the older it gets so you can expect that you’re going to get bruises more often than you once did. Apply the vinegar directly to the bruise once a day and you should see improvement as soon as the next day.
