What an interesting journey! Including the many detours one finds in the lifelong search to find himself/herself.
I compare it to the game played where one is in search for the prize. It is called a scavenger hunt. There are some amazing clues along the route always leading one closer to the ultimate destination.
The detours common to both is the belief that the search we are making is for something outside ourselves. We search for the ideal relationship and romance, the abundant income, the beautiful home and furnishings, the inspiring social life and perfect health and energy.
How amazing an outcome! One can be very blessed to achieve any of the above. However, the yearning to find oneself still persists! And is not satisfied by any of these outer accomplishments.
The ultimate Truth is the awareness that it is the God within that we are searching for.
